FESTIVAL INFO

Here's what you can expect at the festival.

Security & Safety

We are dedicated to ensuring the safety of all of our festival guests. The safety of all festival attendees is extremely important to us, and we have contracted with a well-respected private security company with extensive experience securing Jewish events like ours across the tri-state area. They will work in partnership with the venue security staff to ensure a safe and joyful festival for all of our attendees.

Upon arrival, please expect to be asked for ID and screened. Without ID, you will not be able to enter the venue. To further ensure the safety of all festival guests, the following restrictions apply to all attendees:

  • No big bags, coats, and other prohibited items (including flags, banners and other items prohibited by the venue)
  • No alcohol (Alcohol is available for purchase on site for those 21+.)
  • No weapons
  • No outside food or drink (including water and water bottles)

For a full list of prohibited items, please see the venue website.

The venue, 2300 Arena in South Philly, has ample FREE parking on site. When you arrive, venue staff will direct you where to park. Even though there is plenty of parking, we encourage you to carpool whenever possible.

You may also choose to arrive by bike, but please be aware that there is no dedicated bike parking on site.

Accessibility & Sensory Accommodations

The Philly Jewish Music Festival welcomes guests of all abilities. 2300 Arena is an accessible venue, and there will be seating in both the general admission and VIP sections for those who need or prefer it. There will also be a sensory-friendly lounge at the festival for attendees who need a break from the high energy of the day.

Accessible/ADA parking will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.  Please let venue staff know that you require parking accommodation when you arrive.

Entry & Re-Entry

Please expect to wait outside under the tented area that will be set up as you enter the venue. Upon arrival, you will be asked for ID and screened. Please see the section above on Security & Safety for more details about security screening and prohibited items. Once inside, you will receive a wristband based on the type of ticketholder you are.

Re-entry will be allowed, but attendees must have their hand stamped before leaving the venue. Additionally, please expect to go through security again upon re-entry.

Food & Drink

Outside food and drink is not permitted to be brought into the festival venue. This includes water bottles. Food and beverage will be available for purchase from the venue, including kosher options.

For Vendors & Orgs

If you are tabling at the festival, please plan to arrive in plenty of time before set-up to go through security screening. Festival staff will be in touch with you prior to the festival to get a list of what you will be bringing for your table. This list will be provided to security staff so they know what to expect that you'll have with you. If you have any questions about what is allowed and not allowed, please contact us.
